Acer beTouch E130 brings the portrait QWERTY love to Android
Complete slate devices have been the most dominant form factors we've seen with most Android smartphones with the occasional landscape QWERTY designs being popular as well. However, there is a clear lack of portrait QWERTY devices that are quite prevalent among RIM's line of BlackBerry smartphones, but Acer may have a solution to appease those interested in that specific look. The Acer beTouch E130 was recently snapped up and captured on video during Computex 2010 packing an attractive look that's sure to be eye catching among Android users. Undeniably its portrait style QWERTY donned in white perfectly accents its exterior, but there's plenty to love with the handset even though it's running Android 1.6 Donut as opposed to some of the most recent builds. The Acer beTouch E130 features a 2.6” QVGA touchscreen, optical navigation pad, 3G, Wi-Fi, 3.2-megapixel camera, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, ST Ericsson CPU running at 416MHz, and microSD card support for up to 32GB. Despite packing support for North American 3G (850/1900 MHz), there is no word regarding its availability or pricing.
